Excellent job by all involved
The service l received on the day was excellent but l wasn't impressed with the time it took to get my car booked in to have the work done on the car approx 6 weeks
The service personnel were friendly and professional. I have had to rebook the car in to deal with an amber warning light which I would have preferred to be dealt with at the service visit.
A six and a half week wait for the 'earliest available' courtesy car is an utter joke for a premium car retailer.
The reception staff didn't seem to know which service i needed. Had to speak to Manager who was very helpful

I was told to wait an hour before collecting my car after a service whilst it was in the wash que. When I arrived I was told my car had just been brought round and given the keys after paying the bill.The car had never been washed? Not the first time

Had to wait six weeks for a service appointment with a courtesy car Which, for a main dealer is unacceptable. Also having to book the car in for a full day just for someone to look at a sticking cover ( not to try and repair) is also unreasonable

Service experience was good. Unfortunately not impressed with the valet standard of the car when collected. Some areas not washed such as the roof and the inside had not been vacuumed. Clearly not inspected I expect more of Williams with this regard,
Ring and ring no one answers . When they do answer and tell you service are all busy at the moment they'll ring back shortly and dont ring back at all. I came for service first time girl dealing with me got a call i didnt see her again for 20 mins

For the above reason and when I came back to pick up the car I waited for 45 mins. I was called at 3 pm saying car is ready yet when I turned up at 4.45 pm I had to wait for a long time. Again the service was POOR.
Once dropped of all staff incredibly polite and helpful. No complaints at all. Clear details of what was done and needed.

MOT was done on Time. Car was not Valeted at the time, but was offered another day, so went back to get that done.
I was telephoned to collect my vehicle and it was not cleaned or vacuumed even though I was asked if it was ok to carry out this service when I initially dropped it off first thing in the morning
Waiting too long for car at completion
Fast lane service took longer than it should and my car was returned as though it had been washed with a brush and missed areas

My vehicle was booked in for a brake fluid change - a fairly minor thing. I left the car ALL DAY I was told the car would be ready for collection at 5-5.30pm. I arrived at 4.45 The car was not ready it was also supposed to be washed it was a mess.
I was expecting to have the car washed as I was going away the next day
Had my X1 first serviced 10th June at a cost of £278.00 while I waited. A week later my key fob remote control battery failed. On the job sheet it was ticked new battery replaced. It then makes me wonder if anything else was ticked and not done

Mostly very happy, but when I originally phoned to book in because my service light had come on, I was told it was only because it needed an MOT. It was my local MOT garage who informed me that actually the car was due a service.

No feedback or report from the recent service. No urgency in meeting the return time request Car was available for collection from 7am not picked until around 10.00 Still waiting On a call back from my call on wednesday
Poor communication, wouldn't return calls.
Had to queue for 10 minutes at 8.30am due to only one staff member available then more staff arrived.
Wasn't a good experience, my vehicle was due a running in service no courtesy car available for 2 months and no appointments for when I was off work.I had to utilise public transport to get to and from work.

There was a large queue at the service desks when checking car in. I then rang mid afternoon to check when the car would be ready. I was promised a call back, this didn't happen, Arrived at 5:30pm to pick up car and again large queue.

Not just buying the car but the aftercare
The car went in for a service and now the car will not remember 'last position' with the remote controls. I phoned today at 5.30pm but no one was free in the service dept. to speak to me so I left a message with the receptionist but no returned call.

this is the first BMW that I have purchased and the personal service that I have experienced is far superior to any other vehicle purchase and aftercare I have had before, everything seems so easy with no hassles.
The car is telling me one thing and Williams seem to be getting conflicting information. Re what is due for servicing etc.

Collection experience was good. Car took a little longer than I expected to arrive (but no longer than Craig indicated it may take).
I was kept informed by the dealership on the car's build. There was a slight hitch with obtaining a new V5C on the 3 series I traded in and the dealership were very accommodating. The handover in the showroom was very impressive.
