The car went in for a service and now the car will not remember 'last position' with the remote controls. I phoned today at 5.30pm but no one was free in the service dept. to speak to me so I left a message with the receptionist but no returned call.

The car is telling me one thing and Williams seem to be getting conflicting information. Re what is due for servicing etc.
this is the first BMW that I have purchased and the personal service that I have experienced is far superior to any other vehicle purchase and aftercare I have had before, everything seems so easy with no hassles.
Bmw did not carry out the service and said so that they would do it when the service was booked in.

Great customer service
I was informed of what the car needed and was asked in advance about extra payments before work was done.
The issues the car went in for were not resolved. The car still makes a grating noise when in the reverse gear. The car still leaks water down the front passenger and driver doors. A courtesy car was not provided. I was left without a car for 2 days.
At this point i'm sure my frustration was palpable, the lady in the sales department kindly went and asked Andrew where the claim was up to, without taking my call Andrew asked her to tell me that 'we're still waiting authority from the insurer' TBC
They didn't call back on the day to let me know that they wouldn't be able to fix it straight away. I specifically asked them to let me know.

I have spent £1000 on my brake pads and discs but still they making noise I have been 3 time still same so kind of disappointment.
I had ordered the replacement tyre 3 days in advance of taking my car in for a major service but the tyre was not in stock when I arrived and so I had to leave my car overnight and make alternative arrangements to attend a meeting late afternoon

Reception was quite a wait
They are difficult to get through to and I had to chase for answers. The follow up post extra work was very disappointing. I reported to the agent that I wasn't happy with the service and still had problems. This wasn't the response the agent expecte
It was like an inquisition getting agreement to a new door seal. Photo taken and appt agreed. Wrong part ordered and car repaired following day. Service Rep kept me informed.

Because they fixed a puncture in my tyre as I was desperate to get to a meeting and they don't normally do that service anymore.

drop off and collection takes too long fault on car was not detected. (it rolls back when on a steep hill) Answer was unsatisfactory. my car was not in the bay they stated. took 10 mins to locate car which had not been washed.

The service staff were helpful. The lack of a courtesy car meant I had to wait around for 5 hours. Whilst its nice to have a snack, coffee and read the newspaper, five hours felt like an eternity.
My car was returned to me promptly, spotlessly clean and with the work well done.
Everything was sorted however i did have to call in to discuss one issue, the technician i spoke to was a little unhelpful.
I was looked after by Amy, who kept me informed on a daily basis as to the progress of the repair.
Can't get hold of the service centre in the phone. When you arrive at the service centre average wait time to see someone is 20 mins + and despite me reporting a problem with the washer jets it's not been fixed
Was very satisfied (10 years) up to my last experience were we had to wait a month for a minor service waiting appointment. Due to recalls; quality issues again?

Primarily because of the great service that I received
On arrival, I was made to wait 10-15 mins to be served. The new service manager (on his first day) saw me waiting and came out to deal with me personally ultimately.
Mainly staff are pleasant and efficient, sometimes delays occur, but on the whole resolve issues in a timely manner.
Amy was wonderful, definitely did her very best for us. An asset to the company.
My car has recently been in BMW Bolton for some replacement diaond cut alloy wheels. I have now realised a third wheel deteriorating which is both an expense and inconvenience whilst in for replacement under warranty!
The service is always excellent. My husband recently suffered a sudden death, he loved his cars, making it difficult for me to take over, however the kindness I received from customer facing staff was amazing and was much appreciated.

I just feel that you sell quality cars with a quality service.....all my friends have problems and issues with their cars and garages.........I actually look forward to the BMW experience......every member of staff is ready to help.

Kept informed at all times, car issue was addressed and Williams Bolton were flexible to allow me to pick up my car when it was convenient for me.
Tried to authorise work to be done but after 5 calls there was no call back as promised. As the service was taken place on Friday I had no car or courtesy car until Monday evening.
Sales experience was very good. I was looking forward to collecting a good vehicle.
Cost of service limited level of satisfaction
The only issue was standing in a queue for circa 20 minutes waiting to hand my keys over for the service. There was also a delay in collecting the car. I appreciate I may have dropped on a peak time, but needs addressing. All other excellent.
It would have been a 5 but they didn't ring me the 2nd day to say when the car would be ready so I got a lift down at 4.30pm.It was eventually ready at 5.50pm on the second day they had the car. They were very busy with recalls etc.
Service advisor ALICE HILL was fantastic 5+, made me feel very at ease, explained processes/prices/timescales very thoroughly
Everything ran very smoothly, questions were answered, great communication and professionalism.

The main read for giving this feedback is the length of time it took to get the car into the workshop. I feel as though four weeks is far to long, and goodness's know what damage was gone to the vehicle whilst driving it with the engine management on

Collection experience was good. Car took a little longer than I expected to arrive (but no longer than Craig indicated it may take).
Excellent all round experience.
I was kept informed by the dealership on the car's build. There was a slight hitch with obtaining a new V5C on the 3 series I traded in and the dealership were very accommodating. The handover in the showroom was very impressive.
